Permit to Work Holder
A Permit to Work Holder, also known as an “Authorized Permit Recipient,” is an individual who has been granted the authority and responsibility to carry out a specific hazardous task or work activity as outlined in a Permit to Work (PTW). The PTW Holder is the person directly responsible for executing the work in a safe and controlled manner.
Course Aims & Objectives
- How to make sure you understand all aspects of the safe work permit
- To be able to Explain details of permit to other crew members
- Means to Notify permit issuers (OA & SA) if job scope changes.
- System in place to Report any hazards.
- Clean up job site when work is completed.
- Complete permit close-out section and return to the Operating and HSE Authorities.
