Permit to Work Issuer
The Permit to Work Issuer is a designated individual with the authority and responsibility to issue a Permit to Work (PTW) to workers or contractors intending to undertake hazardous work activities. The PTW Issuer plays a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary safety precautions are taken before commencing high-risk tasks.
Course Aims & Objectives
- Clean and purge the area/equipment to remove hazardous chemicals and residues
- Isolate equipment and follow Lock , Tag & Try Procedure
- Identify the exact location of the equipment to be worked on and the scope of the work
- Provide warnings of any local operating hazards for people safety
- Explain permit closure procedure
