COSHH Coordinator
A COSHH Coordinator, also known as a Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Coordinator, is a designated individual responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) within an organization. The primary role of a COSHH Coordinator is to ensure that the organization effectively manages hazardous substances, minimizing the risk of exposure and potential harm to employees’ health.
Course Aims & Objectives
- The aim is to make students know the minimum tandard is to provide guidance on the steps which should be taken to ensure employees are not exposed to any substances which could be harmful to their health during working activities.
- Carry out works using hazardous substances develop their own procedures which details the specific arrangements to be implemented.
- The procedures must include the standards set out in this document or be of an equivalent or higher standard.
